
Re-designing Amazon
The rise of digital marketplaces allows consumers to shop at the convenience of their own houses. Amazon being oneof the world’s largest marketplace; its leading position in the industry makes it vital for the company to shape the digital shopping experience. In the modern age, Amazon’s mobile application has been labelled inferior and outdatedwhen compared with other companies in the market. Hence, a re-design of the Amazon application is essential.
This case study aims to create a re-design of the Amazon application, incorporating a consistent design style guidewhilst enhancing the user experience to unprecedented levels. The re-design aims to create simplified navigation,user-friendly, and intuitive. Particularly focusing on purchasing and adding products to a wishlist.
To accomplish this, I decided to implement 2 design challenges which are the unicorn and the designer. Highlightingthe idea of enhancing the overall design processes of UI and UX as well as implementing contemporary designtrends onto the interface.
